Obama Campaign on Romney: We've Heard it All Before
posted by Ed Staff | Monday, June 04, 2012

Check out one of the latest Barack Obama campaign ads entitled 'We've Heard It All Before.'  And the title pretty much says it all.  Not only have we heard Mitt Romney pushing his outdated ideas since his not-so-successful days as Massachusetts' Governor, we've heard them all from George W. Bush and Karl Rove on the national stage.  And the result is always the same... failure.  Why would anybody want to go back to that?

Watch it.

It makes me sick when I think of all the money out there that could be used for providing health care for all Americans. I think the Koch brothers are pledging 400 million $$$ for Romney's campaign. It's obscene because they're doing this will all the tax cuts and perks that they've enjoyed under Bush.

I just hope that the voters wake up and turn off the reality shows on TV. As the Repubs stand asking "where are the jobs", I'm waiting for someone, except for Bernie Sanders, to say "yes, where are the jobs? In India, in China?" The Repubs are deliberately withholding job creation so as to make Obama look bad as usual. If Romney is elected, God forbid, the jobs will creep back as long as the corporate CEOs can pay a worker minimum wage with no benefits, but guaranteeing long hours and increased productivity for their workers. I wouldn't even call them "employees" because that's from the old days when an employer valued a loyal employee and rewarded them. Now, they're just workers making profits for the CEOs.

I think most of us here get tired of trying to hammer the message out to voters who don't care or have a clue what's in store for this country if the Repubs get in.

I agree this is a great ad. Once again an ad that exposes us to the real Romney. He is one that believes if you lie enough it becomes a truth. Too bad the American public sees it differently. All he does is criticize President Obama and gives NO solutions other than applying the Bush policies on steroids by supporting the Paul Ryan Bill. Giving MORE tax breaks to the wealthy has not and will not improve our economy or create QUALITY jobs . The libertarian agenda will ONLY benefit the wealthy and take away rights and money from the middle and lower class. I would like to know how an increase in tax breaks for the wealthy will help decrease the poverty in this country. It is painful to know that wealthy people, who should know better, would prefer to give billions of dollars to try to get Mitt elected when that money could be better used and these people claim that they are good Americans and that President Obama is not. They live in the past and are moving in the wrong direction compared to us.
