Romney's SEC Problem
Posted by Big Eddie | Thursday, July 12, 2012

The Mitt Romney Campaign is scrambling to explain why SEC filings seem to show Mitt Romney as the head of Bain Capital for three years longer than he said he was. The timing is important because Mitt Romney has claimed he wasn't the head of Bain when they were outsourcing jobs. Ben LaBolt and Benjy Sarlin join Ed to sort it out. Watch.

Another day, another lie. What did you expect - the truth? Mitt should take up coffee and swearing and give up the cronic lying.

WHERE ARE ROMNEY'S TAX RETURNS FOR THE LAST TEN YEARS. I do not want to take his word for it. Mitt has lied several times in relation to President Obama so we know he is not always truthful. Who does Romney think he is? Does he think that he can make up his own rules? What kind of president would this arrogant, egotistical person make? President Obama and the public has a right to know about his financials before we choose a person to hold the highest office in the country. His interviews tonight has us more puzzled than before. He said absolutely nothing to calm our concerns. Enough is enough. This country needs to focus on jobs and other issues affecting many Americans and not on the fact that Romney refuses to submit his tax returns for at least ten years.

It's just another case of the GOP projecting their faults and failures onto the Democrats. This time it takes the form of accusing the NAACP (and by extension, all African Americans) of wanting government handouts, when if fact that's exactly what the big corporations are getting (e.g. GE and their tax rebate). But that's okay, because according to the Fox Noise clones, any day now our Republican corporate overlords will smile upon us and start dispensing with the jobs once we put enough money in their pockets in the form of lower taxes (or no taxes).

On another note, gas prices in Albuquerque are around $3.09 per gallon. Anybody see the media giving the President credit for this, since he is obviously responsible when gas prices approach $4.00?

Romney has been lying about leaving Bain in 1999 and having no control and now we have the papers to prove it. BUSTED! There is no way they can get around this. There's no spin or PR move that will get him out of this jam. These papers have HIS signature on them.

Between this and what we find out about his taxes, he's looking like a bigger crook than Nixon. I guarantee you by the time this is over with he will have ZERO credibility left.

I predict he will not release any more tax returns. Look for him to go after the President's jugular next. This is what an out of control animal does when you corner it.

Have you noticed there doesn't seem to be any spokesperson for Romney's campaign? The President still has his campaign spokespeople from 2008, Axelrod, Plouffe. Who are the Romney campaign people? They don't even want to come out of the closet and admit they are supporting him apparently. He has to get the head of the RNC to come on tv in his defense. It is now getting to a point where there is no defending him. Between the offshore companies, his treatment of the people at the NAACP, then claiming they want "free stuff", his "self deportation" treatment of Hispanics, who is left to vote for this guy except the 1percent?

Of cource, Romney isn't the only lying, skeeming, secreative, piece of crap out there, there is more from where that came from. Romney went before the NAACP, on purpose to make a video of those awful people booing him, which most certainly will be used in campaign ads. Everything he does is done for one purpose, and one purpose only!

I will say this again, I want Ron Paul, at that convention, and in the voting. I want that party to have one knock-down-big fight. Why? Because they think that they, are deserving of everything. I am tired of all of it, and at least this would make me feel somewhat better.

If Willard is the owner of Bain, gets the rewards of Bain, until 2002, he IS Bain. Romney is a big FRAUD.

What more can the GOP do to make a mockery of democracy?

The bad news is that Romney is only the tip of the iceberg. This country is seeming more and more rotten to the core all the time. According to Jon Alter there are ways to get around paying taxes on offshore banking. The major corporations who get all the breaks (GE got a tax rebate) are doing it. Is this a Democracy? NO.
