Senator Rand Paul spoke at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday night and continued to insist the Affordable Care Act is still unconstitutional. You might remember after the Supreme Court Ruling came down, Rand Paul commented that just because the Supreme Court ruled it constitutional "does not make it so."
Actually, if Senator Paul was half as smart as he thinks he is, he would understand the Supreme Court's ruling makes it exactly so, since a constitution by definition is a set of legal documents defining what constitutes the pertinent entity -- in this case the United States -- and it is the court's job to interpret the aforementioned legal documents. Furthermore, the founding fathers kept our constitution short (it is the shortest written constitution of any nation on Earth) to allow the courts leeway. Watch it.
Rand Paul gets paid 3x more for being a Dr. in the US than he would anywhere else.
Here is the thing. When the new law goes into full effect, the truth of how we are getting screwed for the price of health care from hospitals and specialsts will be in plain sight.
We pay 3x as much for worse coverage than most of the free world.

Playing the Constitution Card..........when its convenient.....
What about a GOP planned & coordinated attack on voting rights Rand Paul?????......is suppressing the vote unconstitutional????????.....probably not in your Ayn Rand world of selfish fiction?????..........the Radical Right wing such as Rand Paul only cry unconstitutional when it benefits their pocket book & radical agenda..............not when it actually comes to protecting the rights & freedoms of all Americans...............we need to start calling the Tea Crazy crowd when they Cry Wolf using the Constitution Card............the GOP pull that card out when it benefits their ideology...........they are crying wolf........

Paul's a joke. Justice Roberts sided with the righties about 100 times, but not with health care, therefore that decision is 'unconstitutional' This whole convention has been more like a low rent celebrity roast of Obama, than a party that actually has any new ideas whatsoever. Steele had a lot more class than Priebus ever will. As Stewart pointed out the other night Priebus looked quite drunk making his speech. What a loser.

Ukeman, I'm glad you typed it, it was my first thought also.
IMHO,Great minds an all that......
So i'm going off subject to change the topic..to TEA BAGGERS
Do you know what the slang definition of the word tea bagger is?
I put the book DO NOT ASK WHAT GOOD WE DO by Pobert Draper on hold at the library and finally got it; about the bitterly divided house of Representatives. Just started it. On page 13, it describes when 84 year old Congressman Dingel(D-MI), was told by one of his staff the meaning...."Because Mr. Dingell was hard of hearing, Robbins knew that he would have to speak loudly and enunciate 'Well, sir I guess you could say it's kind of a sex act. when a man places his testicles on the faces of another person....
One of of the 4 other staffers in the room turned the color of a fire engine.
Then, from the old man:"Huh!"
Followed by: "That's disgusting"
Followed by:"But it's funny, and I'm going top keep using it"
Word for the day kid's tea bagger. How do we Spell itt?T-E-A B-A-G-G-E-R
A tea bagger is....;)

I wonder if he thinks that Scalia and Thomas are not political hacks? Or that Bush "selection" by the POTUS in 2000 is "constitutional"?
Hey buddy it's just "your opinion"... and you lost. Now go on with something realistic.
This just primes us for fear of letting another Republican in the WH and packing the SCOTUS further with right wing radical (neocon) ideologues.

As robme and company crush Ron Paul and his supporters and delegates, his son speaks at this terrible joke of a convention. What the robme republicons are doing to members of their own party, they will be "delighted" to do to all of us.
TAX THE RICH, these people are beyond our worst imaginations.

What's truly is amazing how these guys (tea baggers) are always wrapping themselves up in the Constitution; and then making a stupid statement as the Supreme Court's ruling does not make the ACA constitutional. What the hell does? I guess if the tea party likes something that makes it constitutional. Anyway, did you ever wonder how this guy made it through medical school?

Listening to the gop=tea bagger Ryan and his lies are adding up by the minute. Ryan wants to cuts 715 billion out of medicare and it will come out of the people not the insurance companies, fraud, and waste. This man lies about the stimulus, about the solar panel company that was a pet project of gwb and his buddies and the loan was started under bush to protect his buddies investments. This man never says about the 142 filibusters that stopped jobs, about how the gop=tea baggers held this country hostage to save the bush tax cuts. Now he his talking on debt yet he voted for two unfunded wars, part d unfunded, two tax cuts unfunded, tarp, the auto bailout, and much more. He is a joke as he got his college degree from savings he had from social security after his dad died. I am also wondering if anyone noticed the faces in the crowd are almost all white. I cant believe how the gop=tea baggers are so uninformed or just plan stupid or hateful. Facts are facts that these people wont listen to as when ryan lies they cheer.

I guess Rand Paul does not believe in the ruling of the US Supreme Court because their ruling was against him. It would only have been constitutional if they considered the ACA was unconstitutional. Where is the logic in this? Oh, I forgot that the GOP does not use logic. They also do not care about fact checkers who find lies in their comments and ads about President Obama.
