Biden on GOP's Medicare Plan: 'They're for Vouchercare'
posted by Ed Staff | Friday, September 07, 2012
Filed Under: democrat Medicare joe biden

Vice President Joe Biden pulled no punches in his characterization of the Republican Medicare plan at the Democratic National Convention last night. "They're not for preserving Medicare at all. They’re for a new plan,” Biden said. “They’re for Vouchercare. That’s not courage. That’s not even truthful."

President Obama has a plan to EXTEND Medicare...........Romney/Ryan have a plan to END Medicare as we know it.................Romney claims to save Medicare by killing Medicare.......that's like saying I am going to repair my car by driving it over a cliff..........or I am going to cure my aches & pains by parachuting without a parachute...........

Joe Biden did a great job. He hit the most important points to explain the choices we have in the November election. Do we want to continue to go forward or do we want to go back in time and eliminate all the gains we have made in this country? Are we in this together or is it every man for himself? I say man because the GOP does not believe women should have any role but to raise children and make their husband dinner. The contrast cannot be any greater.

Also, VP Biden shared with us the great relationship he has with President Obama and the respect he has for him.

I agree with SlawDogg that we have to get out the vote so we can fight against those nasty Voter ID laws which is the GOP attempt to suppress the vote. And after the November elections, we need to push as hard as we can to appeal the Citizens United Ruling so we can control this country instead of wealthy, greedy, selfish libertarians who are only looking out for themselves at the cost to the rest of us.

It doesn't get any clearer than that!

A vote for Romney is a vote to replace your Social Security and Medicare with a Voucher.

What is a voucher? It is a cents-off coupon.... you know! Like the one you use at the supermarket to save 50 cents on a bottle of ketchup.

A vote for Romney takes the solid gurantees of our social safety net, and gives us a virtually worthless coupon for a discount on insurance in the open market.

What is to stop the insurance companies from increasing their rates the same amount of the coupon? Nothing!

ONLY A FOOL WOULD VOTE FOR ROMNEY!

Don't let big money buy this election.

IF the BIG MONEY people don't win this election, they will see putting money into politics as a bad investment in the future... and they will back off on these power grabs in the future.

Knock on doors do whatever you can to break our fellow citizens out of their Cooking Channel coma. Wake up! Please independent America, Wake UP before the BIG money destroys the middle class forever.
