Gillespie: Romney Has Been 'Completely Consistent' on Abortion
posted by Ed Staff | Monday, October 15, 2012

Despite a highly publicized flip-flop on abortion from Governor Romney last week in the span of under 24 hours, surrogate Ed Gillespie insists Mitt Romney has been completely consistent on the issue of abortion. Like here, where he he says he is pro-choice. And here, where he says he is pro-life. Totally consistent.

Here is an article that discusses President Obama's correct positions on women's reproductive health. A recent study consisting of young teenage girls and young adult women in St Louis showed that free birth control programs especially for the implanted patch or Intrauterine Device or IUD's. The results are absolutely astounding when these long term contraceptive devices are chosen by women. The longer term contraceptives like the patch and the IUD are 99% effective in preventing unplanned pregnancies. Abortion rates for the test subject women went down by nearly 70%. So if you dislike abortions then the logical thing to do is support President Obama's Affordable Care Act. Please read this article because it really shows how forward thinking President Obama has been on this issue. Strong support for the Affordable Care Act and access to family planning, birth control, and other reproductive health issues are dirt cheap compared to the huge costs of unintended pregnancies. Scientific research supports the President's policies on women's reproductive health.

Do you notice this clown is saying lets save money at the expense of women's health. The thing is this allows for health groups to help women, and the hyde act still applies to this as stated no federal funds can be used for abortion. The groups that are against the mexico act are anti abortion and birth control. They say they want to uplift women, but the deny them birth control, health care, and sound education that should include sex education. You cant help women when they have to spend time having kids they dont want, and not giving them education to improve their lives.

Until the debate all I heard from this guy was over turn everything that has to do women's health. Like george carlin said the conserviatives will protect you in the womb, but when you come out you are on your own baby.

Yes Romney has been a consistent liar and flip flopper. He has not deviated from this strategy.
