Alex......let's talk "desperate" since you say that's what we are. How's this for desperate...The GOP hires the same borderline legal group, asks them to change their name so no one will recognize them from the last election in which their illegal tactics were uncovered, then unleashes them in 5 key swing states to "get out the vote". Only as we now know they weren't so much interested in getting out the vote as they were in making sure only certain people got to vote. When it was discovered by undercover camera that they were up to their usual tricks, they quickly "get out of town" and shut down operations in all 5 states within 24 hours. Only not without one guy dumping a whole bunch of already filled out voter registrations in a shopping mall dumpster then burning rubber out of town. Only he got caught and is now charged with numerous crimes. Talk about sleaze factor and desperation tactics.
Every state with a GOP governor, after taking job stimulus money, using it for their own pet projects, and in Texas, using in to pay down the state deficit, enacted a campaign to suppress student, minority, and elderly votes by ridiculous legislation designed to combat "voter fraud" only they cannot name even one instance of it. We now know where the real voter fraud resides.
These ridiculous huge billboards showing a court gavel and printed threats of what might happen if someone committed voter fraud that they can't find anyway. And they refuse to say who put them up.
States like PA who still had a recording that an ID was needed even when it wasn't. Taking their desperation campaign all the way to the Supreme Court because they thought their good buddies on the bench were going to back them up. Only they didn't. The Supreme Court refused to even hear their arguments. Why??? Because they had nothing to back them up!!
Who's really the desperate one here Alex??? These are strong arm tactics based on a false premise being crammed down the throats of the American people. Why??? BECAUSE YOU HAVE LOUSY CANDIDATES WHO CANNOT EVEN DEFEND THEIR OWN POSITIONS!!
You don't even have enough confidence in your own party and their candidates to let their platform stand on its own. You have to bully. You have to threaten. You have to use illegal tactics to get your guy in position.
This is the very picture of desperation Alex. Don't talk to us about who's desperate!!!

The Progressive party had the House and Senate and White house for two years. Ron, why didn't the Democrats end subsidies for big oil?
Why didn't the Democrats end tax breaks for the top percent earners? The president sign those two or three times. He could have ended it but didn't.
Why didn't the Democrats deal with the debt?
Why didn't they deal with Medicare and Social Security?
They had a chance Ron and they failed to deal with these important matters. They got their agenda through it just wasn't any of the items listed. Gays in the military, done. Obamacare, done. Cash for clunkers, done. Handouts to worthless "green" energy companies, done. Race to the top, done. Let's face the facts Ron, the Democrats could have dealt with the important issue but failed to do so and spent their political capital on other issues.
And Ron, calling me a racist really just shows how desperate the Progressive argument had become. Ron, I bet I help more black people everyday than you do! Not to mention the Arab muslims, Persian muslims, south east Asia muslims, Baltic muslims, and yes black muslims. You can go back to being a hater now.

Sorry gang for the rant at alex, but I am just getting sick of the onesided view of these men and women on the right. They say the president did this and did that for this corporate buddy or some other person. These people blame, but dont look at facts and how the government does things. They only hate this man because he is black, the phony view of the brithers, the phony view he is a secret muslum, the phony view he is a socialist. (I feel alex believes all these things)
I have been an independent for many many years, and I have found fault with both sides for some of the actions that were done, but in all my adult life I havent seen so many people who are saying things about a president or the government that isnt even close to reality and these so called experts make statement like alex did saying a president gave loans to his buddies is just what I said crap as if he was so smart he would have known many of the loans were started under bush and neither bush or obama could approve them. These loans and grants are not given out by a president. It has been amazing to me the crap people say without one fact. The fact I stated about the jobs bill is fact and was on many media outlets and I wonder how any vet or current service person can vote for romney/ryan when these me are willing to start new wars for them to fight and then cut the benefits they earned. It is the same thing with seniors how can a retired person who is on medicare, social security, or medicade vote for the very people who will cut their benefits that the paid for and are paying for now.(medicare). What is wrong with the american people. These people who are on the right say we are americans who do for ourselves, So damn it do for yourselves when you are robbed, you house is one fire, teach your kids with you lack of education, go fight your own wars, and take care of yourself and your family members when the are out of work or are ill and need to be in a home. Just pay your 5000.00 per month to see your mom or dad who are in need of special care which you cant do in your home. If this is what you want then damn it withdraw from the america I know who are caring and giving people and have your own country where you are on your on baby and dont ask for my help when the shit its the fan..

Alex you come up with a list of companies and do you know how all companies not only green get loans or the grants from the government. NO president gives loans or grants to companies. These loans are awarded by an independent group of people who were hired by the government and are not appointed by any president. Companies come to the government like you or I would go to the banks to get a loan for a buisness. So again NO president says yea or nay. Also you list Solynada in fremont do you know Alex that loan was started under BUSH and he even pointed to it to show he wanted to have more green energy....

I am not going to watch the third debate, because I don't want to watch as Romney and the righties try to beat up on the President over Libya and try to use it as a political baseball bat. I am very annoyed that nothing was mentioned at all concerning climate change, in the debates so far, which has everything to do with jobs, and the economy. Both political parties seem to have forgotten all about it completely, although the US, just experienced the warmest summer on record. All they did was to argue over how much coal we will use now, and how much we will go under the earth for natural gas, and how much we are drilling for oil, and Romney got his little jab in at the President over the Keystone Pipeline, which the President did sort of endorse allready. I am sick of all the pandering, by the GOP, to women. It forces the President to pander, also.
There will undoubtedly be bickering over who won the thing, which I do not want to hear about. Then all of the shows, will talk, and talk about what the rigged polls are saying, when most people haven't even voted yet! Oh! the 24-7 news cycle. Sickening!
