Lets say a woman breaks up with her boyfriend & tries to break of all contact.........he then stalks her, harasses her & eventually rapes her so she is forced to have his child or else go to jail???????????????........thinking he can ruin her life either way or be closer to her by being the father of her child against her will.....................dangerous Radical Right Wing Platform.............the victim could be the one who ends up behind bars in the Radical Republican World...........

Let me get this straight: according the the Republican Party Platform........it is OK to force a pregnancy through rape, but not OK for the woman to choose if she wants to not be pregnant???? Throw her in jail if she takes the pill to prevent pregnancy or terminates a pregnancy, but justify rape as Gods will?..............so a victim of rape could be the one going to jail???????????

If the Repubs win the presidency, they will no doubt pass legislation outlawing all abortions. After all Romney has said that he would sign any anti-abortion legislation that passes his desk as President. So all abortion is outlawed either by law or by a new Repub Supreme Court. If a woman gets raped in this country and gets pregnant, the rapist gets off because its not a legitimate rape because she got pregnant (perTodd Akin). If she terminates the pregnancy, she will have committed a crime and go to jail. So with a rape resulting in a pregnancy which is terminated, under Repub law and thinking, the only one to go to jail will be the victim. Guess what,, we will have Sharia law in this country thanks to the modern Repub party!

I'm a woman. Harold is my kitty. If I was attacked and became pregnant as a result and could not legally terminate the pregnancy in the US, I would go to Canada and get rid of it.
First, IN NO WAY SHOULD A RAPE BABY BE CONSIDERED EQUAL WITH A BABY CONCEIVED BY CONSENTING LOVERS. A rape baby should not be respected as HUMAN LIFE. A rape baby is a vile creature conceived by evil acts. About 32,000 pregnancies result from rape each year, many of them are step fathers and boyfriends attacking children they have access to in the family. That is 32,000 pus pockets of evil being dumped into the US adoption market to unsuspecting adoptive parents who will be getting damaged goods from the start. And what happens when the child finds out who they really are? The truth always comes out. How does a child deal with knowing his father was a rapist and he was conceived because a woman was brutally attacked? Two wrongs do not make a right; the first wrong is the rape and the second is allowing the rotted fruit to continue on its evil way uninterrupted. The only right answer is TERMINATE.
Second, being pregnant is a very painful, miserable, and torturous experience and it lasts for most of a year. The only thing that gets you through it is knowing that you and your husband/partner will have a little angel to love and raise and hope and dream for. When you don’t have that to look forward to and you have no support, no joy, no love to sustain you, all you want to do is die. The truth about having a baby is it’s only a bearable experience if it’s a loving one. You may not be in love with the father during your pregnancy. You may be pregnant in a set of terrible circumstances; a single mom, a teenager who made a stupid mistake, or a married woman contemplating leaving the marriage, but the one thing you have to hold on to is the child inside you was not conceived in a horrifying moment of violence and terror, the seed of a monster in your belly.
Third, babies are not all good. If they come from good, they are good. Babies can come from evil. Evil is real. Evil exists in the world. God doesn’t like it. He never wants it to happen, but he can’t stop it because it goes with free will and choice. People can choose to do right and they can choose to do wrong and they can choose to do evil. Wrongs are tolerated and forgiven. Evil is not tolerated. Evil is not forgiven. Evil has to be stopped.

I so agree with you Linda. Months ago when the first phsychotic GOP-ER first made a statement like this, that was my first impression also. I thought, why are you people glorifying the rapist, or would be rapist, and demonizing the victim?
An outfit goes into a poll, wanting a certain result, so they know where to go to get the one-sided results they are after. They know who to call to get it, and they know what to ask them, and they know how to word the question to get that result they are after, twisting, and turning it all around. Ever since, I got rid of the traditional phone, and went with a cell phone, I have never been contacted for my input into a political poll.

Can you imagine even one of them pulling this crap during a political campaign say 30 or 40 years ago??? They would have been run out of town!
