Obama Chief of Staff: Immigration Plan Still in Works
posted by Ed Staff | Monday, February 18, 2013

President Obama's Chief of Staff, Denis McDonough, says the President is simply following through on what he said in Las Vegas when he promised to move on comprehensive immigration reform. This comes as Republicans have begun to slink away from accomplishing reform.  Watch it.

They accuse the President of being non-communicative yet what do they do to him? Holler out "you lie" like deranged rednecks at a state of the union speech, refuse invitations to state dinners, have their disgusting spokespeople like Sununu come on and call the President not very bright and lazy, let their tea crazies threaten his life without so much as a cross word, plot and plan during his inauguration, and on and on. Is it any wonder this President does not want to cozy up to these creeps?

Somebody needs to call their hand every time they say they are waiting for a phone call from him.

Republicans talk, they don't do. I'm sure they wont put their money where there lying mouths are...again. They think by just saying we need immigration reform, it will win over the Hispanic vote. Todays repubs continue to harp on Barack's leadership while having less than zero leadership themselves. While some dynamic Democrats are pressing issiues like the banks to own up to screwing the whole country, climate change, education, new energies, etc. You have nada on the right except the cheap threat of filibusters, obstructionism, McCain still chirping about Benghazi, McConnell 'outraged about (fill in reason here)' the cocktail hour Tan Man, the teas with the tired old don't tax my rich pocket liners, threats of economic armageddon if the President won't be a good boy and play ball, It's surreal. And their "rising stars" are Jindal, Rubio, Ryan?? Same crap, younger face.

To think that they actually give a damn about immigration reform for a race that's been exploited for decades in this country is laughable.

The republicans are worthless. President Obama doesn't owe them one thing. He is right on immigration and he doesn't have to compromise with the repubs. The repubs just want to pass Rubio ( the waterboys' ) plan.

The GOP complains when they say the President doesn't have a plan and when the President has a plan. The obstructionists will in time, lose more and more seats even with gerrymandering. That is why people like the Koch brothers are pushing more power on the state on local levels. Democracy is not free. We have to voice our opinions and take action to make sure that the Democrats have more seats in both Houses of Congress. Otherwise we will become a corporate libertarian society where only some have power and money.

Side note: you can only call wolf so many times before people stop listening to you. Will the GOP ever learn this?
