Will Republicans Raise Taxes on the Middle Class?

The President is out with a plan to keep tax rates the same for 98 percent of the American people, but the Republicans are back to their talking points and the threat of a filibuster. Can the President get a middle class tax cut passed through this congress?

The GOP/Teabaggers gave up thinking a long time ago. All they care about is getting rid of Obama. They will even sell out the country to these "greedy ingrates" (to copy miblue). The Democrats MUST get out the vote. No more staying at home. If the polls are blocked to voters. I would say, "Create a scene, get names and numbers, get arrested, if necessary." The Republikkkans are trying to steal the vote. If you are not WASP and conservative, your vote is not going to count this year. Voter suppression---"done" to quote they GOP Party...

You never hear the radical right saying Mitt Romney was the Governor of "Taxachusetts".........the way they hammered the last Democrat for Massachusetts who ran for President with that childish phrase.....

SlawDogg: McConnell looks like Tooter the Turtle. Worse than that , he looks like the result of a mating between a turtle and an owl. All he wants for Christmas is an upper lip. A good case against north Alabama red neck in-breeding.

In a heartbeat to preserve tax breaks for for the greedy ingrates that have expoited our nation for personal gain and dominion over everyone else. Not to mention the huge campaign contributions for themselves. They have sworn allegiance to Grover Norquist and disregard their oath of office and betray our nation. And they call themselves tea bag patriots when in reality they are Tory apologist betrayers.

I guess we found out yesterday that Mitch the Millionaire McConnell was willing to go against his principles of not raising taxes to lead his crew of GOPs to filibuster the bill to extend the Bush Tax Cuts for the middle class. So Grover Norquist's pledge only includes the 1%. How do all of the Real Tea Bag members feel about having their taxes raised since taxes is a key issue for them? Do they get yet that the GOP is an exclusive club ONLY for the very rich? Why, maybe only for 1% of the 1%. Just another piece of proof that in the minds of the leaders of the GOP, only the very wealthy, egotistical, selfish, greedy count and the rest of us mean nothing to them other than as subjects to be controlled. Mitt Romney is their perfect candidate for them. Problem is, can Mitt clear up all the lies he has been telling about his time at Bain?

The Radical Republican Party does not give a damn about 98% of Americans.............the GOP could care less if taxes go up on the middle class...........they are already on record voting to raise taxes for income under $250.000.00 all they care about is tax cuts for millionaires & billionaires.............they will hold tax cuts for income under the first $250,000.00 hostage so they can get tax cuts for the super rich...........most Republicans favor a regressive tax system............the top 1% make all their income under capital gains income not through working.........................and that income is already taxed at a lower rate than the average working person...................that is a fact. Romney pays about 13%............

McConnell and his fellow GOPS will show their hand if they choose to filibuster the bill to keep tax cuts for the middle class. It will further proof that the Grover Norquist and his gang are only in interested in keeping the tax rates low for the 1%. This action may change the dynamics for the GOP and further prove that they do not care about anyone but themselves and their fellow millionaires. It might just affect the Tea Party members who are not that well off and would be affected personally if their taxes would go up as of January 1, 2013. It just may be harder for them to vote for the GOP when they were told that GOP and Grover were for no tax increases for anyone.

McConnell looks like Tooter the Turtle saying these plodding remarks. Under the Presidents plan EVERYONE gets a tax break on the first 250K they earn as ordinary income.

If the DEMS are guilty of anything - they are guilty of not being able to "sell" the basic truth of the President's proposed middle class tax cut.

Ask yourself --- How many people do you personally know as a friend that makes over $250K per year. I do have one person out of thousands that even come close to $250K. So why are the Republicans protecting this microscopic amount of the population.... maybe because many senators and congressmen earn over $250K between their salaries and speaking fees??? Or are they protecting those LOBBYISTS that make over $250K per year???

Enquiring minds want to know!!!
