I live alone so not sure how that happened...however I looked at the chart and it said 31 parts water to 1 part Bio for furniture. I decided to use 20 parts water to 1 part Bio after getting a message from Anna that she thought that dilution rate might be too weak. I sprayed the area with water then dabbed on and "smeared" the BGC on...wiped with a damp wash cloth...let dry. Partially gone...but still there. Since then, and still having lots left, I have kept a tally on the bottle of 3:1 refills, I'm up to 11 so far and still going strong. I'm a land surveyor and occasionally encounter poison ivy between where I am and where I need to go. i do my best to avoid it, but sometimes, it ends up getting on me, the symptomatic blisters showing up later that evening...I've tried washing off the oil based irritant with soap and water to no avail, but if I spritz on some BGC, lather it up real good and rinse it off...Voila! The blisters subside and the symptoms that follow never happen...I did purchase a clear, graduated spray bottle that makes mixing a fresh batch very easy, not having to involve another container. [ previous ] [ next ] " Thank you! This morning I took our dining room table cloth to the laundry room to wash it. There were two dried in stains of cranberry relish or sauce. (I had made both so I don't know which was which.) I used my usual "tools" for removing stains (Resolve Pre-Treat, Shout Advanced, and Tide Boost) to no success. I rubbed and rubbed and they were still present. The cloth was a solid color so I didn't want to use Clorox. I then went out to where we store the Bio Green Clean in the garage and put a 1:1 solution into a glass (2 capfuls) and soaked the two stains. They needed to be rubbed again. Bio Green Clean will do a great job for you. All carpet machine brands are different in how they perform with our product. You will need to experiment. Remember, you can always add more if the dilution is too weak. In your machine's soap reservoir, start out with a dilution of about 10>1 (10 parts water and 1> part BGC concentrate). You may find that you may be able to use a weaker dilution. 1) remove/vacuum loose dirt/dust. 2) Use your carpet cleaning machine with BGC. 3) Let soak for a few minutes. 4) Complete the cycle with your machine. 5) Let dry, completely, before you walk across the area cleaned. By the time I discovered the spot of black the size of a quarter, it was quite dry. The thought came immediately, this is the moment to grab that Bio Green Clean in concentrated form. I know, it has been said that diluted will do the job, but this is high temperature paint and I was responsible for the spill. I dropped just enough Bio Green Clean on the spot to cover it and walked away to tend to finishing putting then drop cloth away. A few minutes later I took a close look and the spot. I can use it with impunity and I do not have a problem from breathing fumes. No more waking up at 2 am with a cough, when I clean. There are no fumes. Bio Green Clean is made from plants and minerals. I could probably drink it, but I won't! I was so tickled with this cleaner that I called the manufacturer with an endorsement. One afternoon, when riding around in the car, I happened to tune into Big Eddie's Show on 1210 am and lo and behold I heard Ed ask the manufacturer of Bio Green Clean if he thought Carol would buy another gallon?� I heard myself talking and it was such a delightful surprise to know that they liked the endorsement enough to air it. [ previous ] [ next ] "I bought Bio Green Clean this year and decided to do my own test of your product. Love the past testimonials I continue to hear on the Ed Schultz show. So, when I used the product this weekend, I was sure it was something no one else had tried. My family moved into a rental home where the previous tenant had smoked a lot in one of the bedrooms for two years. The whole house smelled of second hand smoke. The landlord claimed to have cleaned the walls, but the smell of cigarettes was so strong, it caused my sister to have to use her inhaler her first night in the house. Because my sister is highly asthmatic, I decided something drastic had to be done. I got out the Bio Green Clean and mixed a 1:10 ratio (1 part BGC to 10 parts water) solution to clean the walls in that room. I thought we would never be able to change the way the house smelled just because of the horror stories I had heard about how difficult smoke was to remove from walls. We used a bucket of solution and a sponge mop to scrub the walls. Within the first strokes nothing seemed to be happening. But within 15 seconds, not only did the wall color change, the sooty nicotine coating started dripping down the walls and the walls turned yellow! We took videos of the process because we were so alarmed. It seemed like the product was actually helping the soot to leech from the paint layer on the wall with the very first coating of the cleaner. We waited a couple of minutes and applied a second and third coating/mopping of cleaner which did the trick - it removed the sooty yellow grime and streaks to reveal a clean white wall! It left the walls and ceiling really white! And the house was rid of the majority of smell. Now we will use the product in other rooms that may have been smoked in and are confident Bio Green Clean will restore the whole house to a more clean environment for everyone. What was even more reassuring is the fact that we know the product is safe. We had two small dogs running around in the house with the chaos of moving boxes and unpacking, but we did not have to worry for there safety while we cleaned. First wash the white wraps went in crusty nasty brown yellow stinky came out brand spankin' new. Those wraps sat in my garage for 5 months before I finally made myself wash them. I tried to take them to a Landry mat the owner kicked me out they smelled so bad. I still cant believe in one wash they came out clean and smelling wonderful. My trainer said “no way” So we went around the barn to find the nastiest dirtiest stinky blanket we could find. Not only did it come out looking and smelling brand new but the cleaning product did not remove the waterproofing on the blanket. Best Surprise ever!! So we loaded BGC into the power washer and cleaned the heated wash area for the horses on a light spray it removed all stains. We are talking about 50 years of barn stains. [ previous ] [ next ] "Hey - I'm Sean. I work for Lone Tree Veterinary Medical Center as a pet care technician in the center's boarding kennel. I'm the one who convinced our management to switch our kennel deep cleaner from a bleach-based cleaner to BioGreen Clean. As I said, we were using a popular bleach-based product to clean our kennels and drain troughs. The product worked but not without intense scrubbing that took paint off the kennel walls. And the drain troughs would not get completely clean even with the most intense scrubbing. The worst thing, though, was the fumes that built up inside the confined spaces of the cement kennel walls. I kept thinking that no product could be *that* good :) Anyway, I have an old Victorian house (built in 1904). It has years of accumulated grime in places, from various past owners. I have 3 cats and a dog, and don't like to use harsh chemicals around my house, particularly on floors. Finally, last week, I decided to try Bio Green Clean out, after hearing another great testimonial. Two problems I have just solved with Bio Green Clean :- 1. Ground-in dirt on kitchen floor tiles My kitchen floor tiles are rough-surfaced, an odd choice for a kitchen floor, and years of dirt accumulated in the crevices, particularly on the tile borders near the grout. A couple of scrubbings with a brush and Bio Green Clean took all those years of gunk right out, where no other floor cleaner has worked. It will be much easier maintenance from here on out. 2. Residue from Double-Sided Tape I'm a dedicated energy-saver around the house, and like to use those plastic window sheets that get taped to the window frame in winter, for insulation. Trouble is, one can never get the double-sided tape off properly afterwards. I was wary of using a goo-removing product because they often strip the finishes too. The previous homeowner had used plastic sheets also, but not removed the tape residue, resulting in ugly, yellowed strips of dried tape adhesive on the window frames. [ previous ] [ next ] "I've been skeptical about your product but I've been trying it on various things for a while now. I found that it works much better in soft water than hard (big surprise, eh?) Last fall I got a favorite pair of leather work gloves soaked with anti-freeze. I've used those gloves couple times since then and found that they turned by hands bright orange. Soap wouldn't remove the orange color from my hands and I was stuck with orange hands for a day or so until it just wore off. But the 2nd time that I had this happen, I used a diluted solution of Bio Green Clean to wash my hands and it immediately got the orange off of my hands. I'm sold and I just ordered more Bio Green Clean. Now I'm soaking those gloves in a Bio Green Clean solution and it is taking the anti-freeze out of them. [ previous ] [ next ] "I have always been amazed at how this product has dissolved even cooked on grease, and is an amazing general cleaner, allowing me to clean the grout in my tile floor to like new condition. I deal in Oriental art, and there is a very fragile copper-gold alloy, shakudo, that patinates to a blue black, that is unfortunately subject to oxidation with handling. Soap and water, alcohol, and acetone will not clean it. Generally, it requires that the piece be stripped down and the patination removed, and then repatinated, a time consuming and expensive endeavor. [ previous ] [ next ] "I wanted to touch base to let you know that we did get our bottle of the Bio Green Clean, and had the chance to test it in a number of ways for a few days. It did a fine job on the standard things I tested it on at home (kitchen, bathroom, the usual suspects), and being able to use something that works as well as, or even better than other products, with the added advantage of being pure green does speak well for it. The real fun though began when the boys around the shop each took a turn, and of course being boys they were off and running on the odd and difficult issues, which is where BGC leaves others in the dust (didn't actually intend it as a pun, but I kind of like it, so it stays). Mark had problems with his computer mouse, which has rubber sides that had become tacky over time, and for almost a year he tried everything he could think of to get rid of the stick. He decided that was his test area, and the man was floored (and pretty excited) when BGC totally eliminated the tackiness completely. Next up, running around trying it out of anything and everything we could think of. The biggest test was on one of the company vans, that had brownish stains down the sides of the white van. Over the years, we have tried having them removed at car washes and repair shops, and nothing would get the stains out, but the BGC took it off with no waiting - just sprayed it on and wiped the streaks away.
